The challenge

Smallfry engaged Johnston North to redesign their website. The goal of the new website was two-fold. Firstly to create an engaging, people-friendly website aimed at potential clients. The second goal was to improve the search engine friendliness of the website to help with Smallfry’s online marketing.

The solution

Working closely with Smallfry we created a new look-and-feel inline with their new brand. We migrated the website away from being entirely Flash based which was harming Smallfry’s position on Google.

We worked hard to understand the needs of the website’s visitors and those of the business. This helped us create a focused, intuitive and professional website useful to the visitor and beneficial to Smallfry.

Smallfry also wanted to take a more active role in managing their own website. Therefore we implemented an easy to use content management system. The system allows Smallfry to create, update and remove any of the content on their website.
